Sorry for my long pause in the world of crochet. I have had many interruptions to my being able to accomplish anything and it is frustrating, although some of the explanation is positive. I have been more busy than ever, with multiple things happening.
First, i was named a Teacher of the Year runner up for my school district. While the honor is great, there have been many things happening that have kept me on the go after school. I also participated in the NGSS California State Board of Education curriculum review, which took me away from home for a week. I will be getting a bunch of curriculum to review in the next week or so – all done on my own time without pay.
I also have other NGSS trainings, I was elected to the Union Board of Directors. I was already an Association Representative at my school and serve on two committees for the union. This is on top of my normal participation in my school committees and activities.
I fell behind on my temperature blanket and have also hardly been crocheting. I would LOVE to start this CAL, but I feel like I am cheating on my temperature blanket if I do.
