This is Karen Wolfram’s blanket and what she has to say about it:

Pattern is from an old Annie’s Attic Mile a Minute book. It is called Baby Rings. Each ring is a days high temp. Each strip is a month. The colored row around the strip is the average low temp of that month. It ended up 56″ x 44″. I love how it turned out! My 2016 than was so big that I made 2, 6 months each.
