I do not have a photo to accompany this grid, but here is another idea on how to put together a temperature or monthly tracking blanket. This one is done in long, monthly strips. There are two ideas that I had for this one.

  1. Make a rectangular motif and sew them together in a monthly strip.
  2. Make one long strip (like a long and wide scarf) for each month, then sew each month together. The days can be done as part of the rows of the strip. You could pick any stitch that you like, but make sure the measurement of the section for the day is equal to 2-3.5 inches (or more) depending on how long you want your blanket. For each day, crochet the same amount of rows. So, for example, if you like to do double crochet, and 4 rows of double crochet gives you 2.5 inches, then you would continue to do 4 rows for each day of the month on that strip. Your strip should be 77.5″ long (without a border). Sew the strips together. If you made each strip 7″ wide, you would have a width of 84″. Decent size blanket, but not overwhelming. You could choose smaller measurements also if you wanted a smaller blanket.
