2017 Temperature Blanket Progress

March 19, 2017 | My Crochet Projects |

It is mid- March and I am caught up on my temperature blanket again (except for yesterday’s square). We had to drive to Mission Viejo to take my daughters to a wedding, and then Fullerton to pick up my other daughter from her college friend’s after they drove home from spring break from Oakland. Timing was great, as all of this was happening at the same time. Samantha arrived in Fullerton from Oakland about 5 minutes before we arrived from San Diego after dropping the other two off in Mission Viejo.

While on the road, I finished up squares – all except my birthday one. All the birthday squares have sparkle thread crocheted in with the sea star. I forgot to bring that thread with me on the trip, so did it when I came home. I really dislike the yellow and green square, but it was 91 degrees that day – although I did question the weather station that I usually follow. But, somewhere along the way, I am sure those colors will come up again.
